Promotion

The main promotion will be done on the radio waves by broadcasting commercials on all FM station in Clark county. A team of promoter volunteers from DreCo Media will be hitting the strip Thursday through Friday nights at all night clubs in Vegas passing out flyers and mingling.

The major responsibility for managing customer relationships falls to CDW’s energetic and passionately customer-focused account managers. “We want to become the trusted adviser for [customers].”

Suave’s TV and other ads pull customers onto a nicely integrated Web site, which creates a “sisterhood” of moms and delivers the brand’s “Say yes to beauty” positioning in more detail.

Form a committee to promote the charity event. Brainstorm ideas of what you can do to promote the charity event without it costing very much. Decide what you can spend on advertising--if you can't get it free--so you can narrow down your choices. However, if you follow Steps 2 to 6, you shouldn't need to spend much on promoting your event.

Produce fliers. This can be accomplished with your own computer and distributed by either bulk mail or hand.

Make tickets that you can sell for the charity event. Selling tickets is a way to promote the charity event, because people will see when and where it is being held and also the cost.

Advertise in the local paper especially if it is a big charity event. Sometimes local papers won't charge you if they are listed as a sponsor of the charity event.

Use the Internet to announce the coming charity event to everyone you know connected to the charity. Sending one email to all involved, with the details, rather than calling--and possibly getting stuck talking--will save time and money.

Talk to the local radio and TV channels to see if they will sponsor the event. This will allow you to attract even more people for your charity event. How much you need to promote will depend on the charity event you are planning. http://www.ehow.com/how_2157477_promote-charity-event.html
