Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

The Biggest grocery store chain in America is Koger. In 2010 they were the only Corporation to donate over 10% of their previous year's earnings. Krogers donations go to the communities where their stores operate. They also Volunteer on top of donate which is one of the reasons they are number one in this topic and amount donated as well. They also raised $1,500,000 for the families of the soldiers over seas.

Wal-Mart has given a tremendous amount of money and goods to people in need in America. The companies is also doubling their efforts and providing education for military families and veterans in need. plus a bunch to women around the world in support to help gain jobs and entrepreneurial skills.

Wells Fargo is third to give the most cash at $219 million in 2010. They are one of the recipients of a 25 billion government bailout. Wells Fargo paid the Government back in 2009.

Over 19 million of the cash giving included gifts that the employees gave for the needy. Goldman also matches up to 20 thousand per year for each employee

Bill Gates is the founder of one of the largest software corporations on Earth, and one of the world's wealthiest people. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest charitable foundations in the World as well.
